anthropologie fading stitch pullover fitting review

hello! better late than never. the fading stitch pullover hit sale this week. i picked it up pre-christmas and have been enjoying it ever since. i went with a medium, so runs true to size for pullover sweaters.

anthropologie fluted ponte dress fitting review

hello! i tried on the fluted ponte dress by girls from savoy at anthropologie and had to share a review. it is really lovely. i am wearing the small. it ran bigger than i would have guessed.

the only issue i had was the color. i hoping it comes out in another colorway. maybe navy with pale pink ribbon or black and ivory ribbon. that mustard yellow is about the worst thing that could happen to my fair skin.

anthropologie lepidoptera dress fitting review and styling option

oh goodness. i think i am loosing my mind. i thought i had posted this months ago, but of course, i didn't. here you go! the lepidoptera dress (say that one 3 times fast) by maeve. i am wearing a size 6. fits true to size.

ignore my bra-straps. the dress did come with detachable straps, i just didn't have the patience to put them in. below you can see the detailed lining.  as most reviewers stated, in store the bow looked a little sad. it needs a good steaming, but could have also used some additional weight and a little length too. i will probably always substitute a belt.

here's an option for how i would wear it:

anthropologie lepidoptera dress, option #1

anthropologie flounced pintuck parka fitting review

sorry for the delay with this one! by now, the flounced pintuck parka is on sale for $99.95, down from the original $198.00. i really like this one, but because of how lightweight it is and how cold it gets - it is hard for me to justify.

the back and hood are what really make this coat fabulous. i tried to capture those details. i am wearing a size small. it fits true to size. because of how swingy the coat is and my narrow shoulders, i could wear the small.

(sorry about the creepy white circle - but i couldn't not share how cute the hood was when worn up!)

anthropologie tiered stripes dress fitting review

well hello bailey 44. so pleased to meet you and your lovely tiered stripes dress from anthropologie.

sister to the layered column dress, i love that this one has sleeves. i am wearing a medium and felt it ran true to size. the dark purple color is also a nice change from black. in the fitting room, i wasn't sure that i would have a place to wear such a form fitted dress. after hearing my concerns, another shopper in the fitting room told me, "honey - you don't need to have a place to go, you wear that dress and the party will come to you." sold.

anthropologie carapace wedges fitting review

these carapace wedges by boutique 9 caught my eye as soon as i spotted them online. luckily my store got them in over the weekend. fantastic. they ran about 1/2 size big - so i ended up going with the size 6! a friend of mine also tried them on and felt the same way, sizing down to the 6.5 from a 7. this is the same size i took in the botanist heeled loafers, also from boutique 9.

i loved these from the moment i put them on. i loooove how flattering they look with rolled up pants, but also with skirts and dresses. the deep v in the front is so unique. they are decently comfortable for the heel height. after a few hours (i wore them to work for the past couple days) they begin to feel a little snug, but what platform heel doesn't? overall i really like these ones and you will be seeing them on me all season long. :)

anthropologie harrington cowlneck fitting review

another fabulous drapey sweater to share. this harrington cowlneck by sparrow was oh so soft and had the cashmere price tag to prove it! eeesh. i wish it wasn't so spendy, but i really liked how it fit. i am wearing the medium and it ran true to size.

i could see myself wearing this over the verdant slip dress or pairing with a tank and jeans. it's highly wishlisted... but i might try to hold out for a sale.

anthropologie hallowell cowlneck fitting review

hello! i loved this sweater (the hallowell cowlneck from sparrow) as soon as i put it on, so cozy yet such a new and different shape. i am wearing a medium and i felt it ran true to size. it was one of the strangest items to try to photograph, so i am including tons of pictures. i did like it more in person than in these pictures. it's hard with one arm constantly up with camera to get the true drapey-ness of the garment.

oh and i liked it better in the tan than the navy or dark green. the details and drape seemed to be much more apparent in the lighter color.

anthropologie bowed lacerta mary-janes fitting review

i thought i would throw in my two-cents on the adorable bowed lacerta mary-janes by miss albright. i mean, what's not to love? i only wish they came in more colors.

fits true to size. i went with a 6.5.

anthropologie liasis cardigan fitting review

i was curious about the liasis cardigan by monogram (hwr) when it popped online. it reminds me of the old anthropologie that i love. lucky for me, there was an online return in a small that i could try on. overall i thought the small fit and looked perfect open, but did not look cute when buttoned up. i would love to try the medium to compare. i would suggest going true to size.

anthropologie unconditional osier dress in brown fitting review

who doesn't love a lace dress with sleeves in a swingy silhouette? the unconditional osier dress certainly does not disappoint.

i went with a medium. fit perfectly. i didn't have any pictures, but i tried this dress on with a bunch of belts and practically loved any belt i paired with it. i wasn't loving the brown color and once i found out it came in blue online, it was no question.

i ordered immediately. with how quickly it sold out in stores, i wasn't willing to risk it. it shipped this week and i will definitely post a review when it arrives. i am curious to whether it will actually be blue or more grey.
