anthropologie floridian oasis heels fitting review

hello. i purchased the floridian oasis heels last weekend from anthropologie and just cannot rave about them enough.

the perfect color for summer, pretty comfortable too. online says these run a size small after size 38. i would say that they run small no matter what size you are. again, i am a 36.5 or 6.5 and these are a 38! holy moly! i have never been a 38 before. but as you can see, it's not like i have tons of room. so ladies, size up!

leifsdottir katariina wedge fitting review and 6.24.11 ootd

hello there! i know in the past you have enjoyed shoe reviews as most locations do not carry them. i shared one yesterday and i will try to share more as my local store gets new styles in.

up first is the katariina wedges from leifsdottir.

let's first talk about these pretties. outrageous for day, but i somehow want to wear them all day long.  i have never seen such a crazy gorgeous shoe. i just had to try them on in store. i went with the brown suede. i usually am a 36.5 and believe i went up to a 37 in these.

another crazy thing? these were actually comfortable. and relatively easy to walk in. (i could actually do a few little dance moves too. hehe)

oh and if i needed another reason to swoon, they looked adorable with my outfit last friday:

i am almost thinking of splurging.

anthropologie essential summer shift fitting review and styling option

hello there! lucky for me, i am short (5'4) enough to wear the essential summer shift as a dress without worrying about the length... taller girls, the lace portion might get a bit too revealing if you know what i mean ;)

this one also did not run bigger at all. i am wearing the medium.

now as you know, i love create options online, but this week i also realized it is quite fun to create options in store. so here is how i might wear this one out on the town:

what did i add? here is the polyvore breakdown:

now i know it is called the essential summer shift, but honestly, i think it is the perfect black dress for pairing with nubby wool tights and short little booties in the winter too! it's not even august and i have autumn fever already!

anthropologie chiseled wedge fitting review

hello there. if you saw in the last post, i had on the chiseled wedges. i really am loving some of the new shoe selections right now from anthropologie. i feel like they are really refreshing from prior releases.

they run true to size if not a bit big. i think i will end up with the 6.5 (so true to size) but i could fit the 6 too. just a little too tight for comfort right now. my only concern is i feel like my feet get a little bigger in the summer from all the flip flops and with tights in the winter, i might actually need the 6s. oh well. i'll probably go with the 6.5s.

anthropologie calumbo blouse and discreet designs skirt fitting review and styling option

hello! i couldn't resist sharing this combination of the calumbo blouse and discreet designs skirt i tried on in the fitting room with you. it made both the skirt and top instant wish list items.

i loved the color of the skirt, but worried it wouldn't go with much. it's just perfect with the tones in this blouse. i am wearing a small in the top. fits true to size for fuller-cut tops. i am wearing a 6 in the skirt. this is a size down from usual pencil skirts for me.

the heels coordinate perfectly as well. i want the whole thing! :)

here is the combination via polyvore:

outfit of the day: 06.28.2011

over the weekened i scored the rodeo feat blouse for only $29.95!

i always liked this top, but never pulled the trigger. at that price, it was right up my alley. (for sizing, it runs smaller than usual tops. i went with a medium and it was a bit tight on my hips still).

until then, here is the polyvore breakdown:
ootd: 06.27.2011

RODEO blouse
