hello! i ended up wearing my target zipper front dress to work a few weeks ago. i added my madchen lace slip from anthropologie and it made the dress just long enough for the office.

hello. back with another outfit from last week:
i have to apologize about the dirty mirror. it's making all my clothes look like they have giant smudges right in the middle of them. whoopsies. anywho...
i picked up this soft cardigan (bed jacket/kimono jacket/open cardigan - every retailer seems to refer to them differently) at forever21 last week for a mere $13.80! i figured it would be the perfect way to dress down a suiting dress from j.crew.
outfit: forever21 jacket, j.crew dress, target shoes, anthropologie belt, j.crew bracelet.

hello there! happy wednesday! received my unconditional osier dress in blue from anthropologie in the mail this week. it is be-au-ti-ful. just the perfect deep blue (very close to the online photo). couldn't wait to wear it today.

outfit of the day: 09.24.2011
another favorite outfit to share. it all begins with this fabulous printed star dress by alice ritter. here is a close up of the print from a blouse photo i found:
you know by now, i love prints... and i really loved this one. i found the dress at t.j.maxx with a tag that looked like it was from urban outfitters. i haven't been able to find out much about the dress as it is from a prior season. anyway, the whole thing was very strange, but i digress. i found the dress. tried it on. loved it... but just wasn't 100% sure. t.j.maxx requires quick decisions and i don't always like that. so i put the dress back and didn't purchase. a week later i was still thinking about it - so i went back, but of course, no dress.
fast forward three weeks. shopping again at the maxx, the dress re-appeared and this time i didn't hesitate.
something about that big bow puts a big smile on my face. to make it work appropriate, i added a blazer:
outfit credits: alice ritter dress, anthropologie boots, j.crew blazer, j.crew bracelets.

anthropologie bowed lacerta mary-janes fitting review
i thought i would throw in my two-cents on the adorable bowed lacerta mary-janes by miss albright. i mean, what's not to love? i only wish they came in more colors.
fits true to size. i went with a 6.5.
