pottery barn cubbies

i love pretty little vintage finds. i also love when everything has its proper place. sometimes these two loves don't go hand in hand, so i was thrilled to discover this pottery barn cubby organizer, available in both stained wood or distressed white. so thrilled infact, i purchased 2!

below was my initial styling:

all the littles have a spot to rest and be featured.

two little shakers of sparkle, purchased from etsy!

then i got inspired by pottery barn's own styling photos on their website:

and decided to try to fill all the little cubbies with vintage treasures:

i used old wooden spools from textile mills (available from around $5-15 at antique shops and flea markets, or again, etsy.com) to display vintage hats along the top shelf. old millinery flowers, cream enamel mugs, jars of buttons, spools with ribbon, and a jadite shaker round out the items featured.

until next time,

S
