i grabbed this on a whim and was shocked with how much i liked it. i am wearing the size 6. so comfortable and cute! plus, i think it looks amazing with my little frye booties.
i can totally see myself grabbing this dress and throwing it on throughout the fall and winter, plus i can wear it to work on casual fridays. yay!
next up, i finally was able to try on the boutonniere blazer, which i have loved in the catalog for months. i knew the cut of this one would be great and it was much more lightweight than i anticipated (like a thinner boiled wool - not the heavier weight tweed i had imagined) i actually preferred the weight and softness of it.
it fits true to size, i am wearing the 6. i usually try not to purchase grey on top as i think it washes me out, but i think the grey colorway is the best out of the choices for the blazer (available in black or brown). what do you think? i am trying to hold out for a sale on this one.

yes. black. sequin. shorts. they're the sequined jersey bloomer (and apparently already sold out online). a little crazy, but i really liked them! i thought they looked perfect with the black tights and blazer. they were totally comfortable (jersey lining), had pockets, and an adorable side tie sash. it was my wild moment. i purchased on a whim. (they were only $30 on sale...so not a huge risk) and now i can't wait to wear them! so fun!
