vintage victorian

after styling lisa's lace dress over at sweet laundry loves, i was craving a lace dress of my own. it provides so many options! so of course, when i placed the order for the warm reception booties from mod cloth, i just had to add in the lovely omen dress.

and then i realized, i must be on some crazy victorian kick... check out this weekend's shopping:




okay, so maybe not the mittens - but they were too cute not to get (and perfect for the weather!) but has that ever happened to you? gone on a shopping kick inspired by the 1800s? or just went wild for a trend?
oh well, vintage victorian, here i come. i am confident i can bring it all into the modern times.

    Ohhh, this dress is so pretty. I like that it has sleeves and the opportunities are endless given the neutral colour of the dress. Great purchase!
