anthropologie stilled night dress fitting review

i popped into anthropologie to do a few returns and this lovely little frock by moulinette soeurs appeared (it's the stilled night dress and also comes in a dark grey colorway, which my store did not have):

its a darker royal blue dress with a black overlay. a black ribbon belt with two black roses, and then there is a turquoise layer of lace that peaks out of the bottom. so dreamy. i added a few pieces in the store to complete the look:

what do you think?

adding some black lacey tights would be the perfect touch.

i am wearing this dress in a small. there is no zipper, just a pull over. nice and easy! overall, it was just wonderful, very comfortable and i felt instantly dressed up. love at first sight.

the desert oasis booties, as also stated by a reviewer online, ran big!  i typically wear a 6.5. i was wearing the 6 and could have easily sized down. i am not sure how i feel about these. they were part casual, part dressy. something about them wasn't quite right, but at the same time, i liked them. hmm. i need more time to decide - but usually if i don't instantly love something - it's not worth it.

the blazer is a size 6, so runs true to size. i liked how this dress could easily pair with a black blazer to wear to work. i have a few black blazers in my closet already, but i did like the elbow patches on this one. wishlisted the "turquoise" dark grey blue teal color.

Update! here is the whole look via polyvore:

until next time,
