drop waist dress: mossimo from target (bought it on sale! still in stores)
shoes: converse chuck taylors in pink
cardigan: coin purse cardi from lia molly via anthropologie
it was the perfect outfit for my morning of flea marketing. comfortable, casual, but still girly of course.
i also took my tole chandelier in to the shop for re-wiring and a new clear cord. i think it will be perfect hanging in front of/over the daybed.
wish me luck for picking up the chippy kitchen cabinet tomorrow. i am so excited to share pictures of it once it is in the apartment all loaded up with linens and dinnerware. :)
until next time,
S
Very cute! I recently purchased that cardi, but haven't worn it yet because I thought it was too fall/winter looking. Now, I see that I was wrong. It looks great with your very spring-like dress!
ReplyDeleteI like the mix of materials going on in your outfit, great for a transitional weather period.
ReplyDeleteI am excited to see how your apartment is coming together! Your apartment style is what I would like to have, but my fiance is not so keen on it as me.
Those pink converse are so cute, and perfect for weekend running around. I'm so happy your new apartment is coming together how you want it. I can't wait to see what this kitchen cabinet looks like.
ReplyDeletewow, very summery and refresh!
ReplyDeletekristin - thanks! this was my first time wearing it too! i think you can wear it in the spring with the bright turquoise color.
ReplyDeletejess - thanks! it's fun to play around with different textures. yeah... no fiance for me, but i always joke with my friends that whoever i end up with will have to like pink ;)
lisa - thank you! i love the pink chucks too. so fun to run around town in.
alexandria - hopefully it stays this nice!
