i grabbed a medium and liked the fit, but even pulled up higher the length was a bit long. clearly, this scarf is not working with the outfit. but, the skirt was lovely. so soft. so easy. it was definitely a happy surprise.
then i decided to be ambitious and try the size small skirt.
surprisingly, the small fit better. it was a little shorter (which is better considering i would wear with flat sandals) but not tighter like i imagined it would be. i can't wait to wear it this weekend with the sailboats tee and a plaid scarf i picked up at j.crew:
i also think it would be fun styled with a slightly tougher feel:
lastly, i like the idea of trying it with a blazer (i would roll up the sleeves), simple lace tank, and dressing things up a bit with pearls:
until next time,
S
I loved that outfit from Roxy's blog too! I hope to try to recreate it. I LOVE the sailboats tee! Thank you again for helping me style the Pickled Plaid! :)
