cb2 finds

hello there! so sorry for the lapse in posts.  i have been zooming across the midwest over the past few days. (below is some proof!)

and now have tons to share with you from my travels over the next week.

until i get to that, i wanted to quickly share two great cb2 finds for home. cb2 is a great spot for whimsical modern decor (it's an offshoot of crate and barrel.) shopping from here alone would be too modern for my taste, but every now and then a few pieces really catch my eye. i have been wishing for this right spot for this whimsical hopscotch rug for some time now:

it only comes in one size, 4x6, a little small for a larger living room, but would probably work best in an entry hallway, office, or den. i love that the colors are neutral, so it could go with well with multiple color schemes.

i love the vintage vibe of the coop tower, shown by itself and then in a twosome:

i think it looks reminiscent of old-school lockers when a few are together, such as in this catalog shot. wouldn't they be fun in an entry hallway to store boots or winter accessories?
