it got me thinking of horse show prize ribbons and using them in decor. i have noticed them around at garage sales or even at hunt and gather yesterday:
a few years back, blog this is glamorous, featured them here. i loved the pictures so much, i thought i would also share with you:
i love the idea of using them as a headboard as Francine Zaslow did via design is mine. it works especially well in that awkward nook, where a traditional rectangle or square would never fit.
this second photo, from Mark Lund, uses trophies and ribbons together. i love how the ribbons are feaured in old frames. so creative!
a favorite blog of mine, everyday beauty, featured these ribbons that she created here. i am constantly amazed by her skills!
