a quick clutch round-up

as the cooler weather sets in, here is a quick roundup of some wallets and clutches that will take you into fall. criteria for me: the clutch must act well as a wallet in a bigger purse (has place for coins, cards, etc), but can also "hold its own" as an adorable clutch carried around alone.

i can always find picks from coach or marc by marc jacobs, here is a look beyond those power-houses.

first up, the heidi clutch from frye at zappos:

i love that fabulous green color and the ruching details combined with the leather accents allow it to be dressed up or down quite easily.

the next clutch is from hobo international, style beth (also available here). the outside has a unique asymetrical zipper - but the best part is when it opens up.

check out all those pockets, plus a handy zipper for coins! 

it comes in patent bronze, midnight (navy), mahogany (wine), and black. i think i like the bronze the best, what do you think?

this next one is from Street Level via piperlime. i would encourage you to click on all the pictures, there is so much detailing that is missed in the below picture, such as the zipper on the bottom, the great shoulder strap - and the actual size on the mannequin.

it has a nod to vintage no? and for only $60 - seems like a steal!

this casablanca clutch by jessica simpson, below, has all the right autumn colors:

have you happened to browse fossil this season? i really like their mix of vintage and classic styles. for example, the key-per zip clutch for $40:

such fun color combinations and prints. they remind me a bit of orla kiely, but without the price.

next up is this girly ted baker bobble kisslock clutch, available at nordstrom in a few different colors. i love the sunny yellow, but blue or black would be perfectly practical too.

i am also a big fan of neutrals which will work for all seasons, this lovely see by chloe:

i like the zipper detailing, mix of suede and smooth leather. also available from bloomingdale's here in black or a rich raspberry.

this juicy couture cape continental clutch (how's that for alliteration?) is also a great find. it comes in the color shown or in black:
