ebay delight: champagne cocktail dress

i occasionally look at ebay for items i missed out on years ago. like anthro items from 2005, 2006, 2007. and sometimes i hit the jackpot. like this little number: the champagne cocktail dress. circa october 2007 catalog.

it arrived in the mail yesterday. just as described. better than i imagined. tags still attached. and it fit!

 

i can't wait to wear it. i love how it was styled below. the catalog shots were so very ethereal back then. i wanted to just pop right into the scenes. and this dress was one of my favorites. too bad the "big-night-out slingbacks by cynthia vincent (shown with the dress) aren't still available!
