and check out the cute little zippers in the back.
up next, is this little lace number, which i think was meant to be just a dress. it came in a dusty blue, black, and the perfect pale nude color. i will wear it as a layering piece with skirts and cardigans or under dresses.
i love all the detailing and the cap sleeves. i went with a size 10 for this dress - so true to size/one size up, depending.
up next was ann embroidered jacket that reminded me a bit of an anthropologie piece:
i love jackets - i think they are perfect for looking pulled together quickly. this one i was open to trying on, but not sure how it would look.
for sizing reference, i am wearing a 6 and felt that it fit really well and true to size. i am usually between a 6-8, but because i have more narrow shoulders, i tend to fit 6's best.
the last find is quite special for me. i have been looking for a "leather jacket" for some time. i have seen quite a few good looking ones from anthropologie, target, and even forever21 - but none of them were quite right. i wanted a jacket that was still feminine and girly, but had the tailoring of a motorcycle jacket. i have been keeping my eyes peeled for over a year. it's harder to find that one would think! until now.
i was looking at one last rack before heading to the fitting room and i spotted this fabulous "leatherette" jacket. there was only one... and it was a size 8! perfect!
i love the nude color, the little pindotting is extra special and i think the grey inserts make it look unique.
i loved it! it must have been a new arrival because all the sales associates at the register loved the jacket and had never seen it before. i can't wait to wear it... i wonder what it would look best over? i am thinking maybe one of the tucker for target dresses?
until next time,
