i paired it with the back porch blouse and the ribbon swell pumps i scored on popback for second cut sale price! i was worried wearing the red skirt and red shoes might be too matchy-matchy, but i think i added enough to make it work.
and then because i am loving blazers lately, i added the navy chalkstripe one from banana republic:
i liked the subtle mix of textures and patterns.

I love this outfit! The colors, textures, and patterns go so well together.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is gorgeous! The blouse goes so perfectly with the skirt and the heels are fabulous. Did you find the shoes to be TTS? I'll have to keep an eye out for them.
ReplyDeleteOh, those darling red pumps. *Swoon* I absolutely adore them! They look fantastic with that skirt!
ReplyDeleteoh man- these two items just sing together!!! the pattern of the skirt, the shifting texture of the lace...ow- I love...
ReplyDeletekristin - thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteLC - you know, my two other pairs of chies are older and in a mary jane style. for both of those i took a 37. these were a 36.5. but i think i read they changed their sizing on a run of shoes and this might have fallen in that range.
lisa - thanks so much! they are soo comfortable too! i am trying to be more adventurous with my shoes and i think these did the trick.
thatdamngreendress - thanks! i haven't worn this blouse yet, but once i broke it out, now i keep wanting to pair it with everything!
