outfit of the day: 01.21.2011

hello! i have been busy scoping new finds to share! including a slightly unique product review. but before i begin, here was my outfit of the day from friday:

i have certainly been getting my wear out of these pilcro stretch leggings from anthropologie. i wish i purchased them in black when i had the chance... the top/dress is one of the forever21/heritage1981 finds i shared last week. i love the little bows, plus it came with the velvet bow belt!

i ended up purchasing a size L in the dress. as usual with some of these junior-styled tunic top/dresses, i need to size up to accomodate my curves and modesty. for only being 5'4, i still appreciate the extra .5-1 inch the size L adds in length.

i wore the eyelet platforms at work. i loved the bow theme from my toes of the shoes to the little bows printed on the dress, to the velvet bow belt to my bow headband on top.

here is the polyvore breakdown:

oh and then, before i headed for my shopping excursion i have a couple extra snapshots, with a shoe switcheroo.

  1. I love this outfit! The leggings are great. I didn't know Anthropologie had these! You look so cute. I have really skinny chicken legs and am very self conscience about wearing leggings with shoes. I wear them with my boots, But I don't think I'd look good with shoes. Maybe I should try it. Did you score anything this week? I purchased 2 items. The De Chelley and 1 of the 2 Little creatures belts, I believe that's what they are called. Anway, I got the Doggie and has purchased the turtle earlier last year.

  2. ooh i bet the de chelley looks so great! i finally purchased the blue/red version of the stories untold scarf (on 2nd cut!) but no big clothing items. right now i am finishing up the closet organization for 2011. i am thinking until i finish that, i can't add anything new!
