outfit of the day: 03.07.2011

hello! today i went for a fun color combination of yellow, rose, and grey.

you know me and whimsical prints. i love them so much. this printed bow blouse from forever21 was no exception. it also was the perfect compliment to my marjorie heels from anthropologie.

then, i added a blazer to keep it a little more work appropriate. :)

though i picked the top up over the weekend, i couldn't find a photo online for my polyvore breakdown:

  4. Oh how pretty! You know I really wanted that skirt when I found it for $39.99. Now I regret not getting it. I wear a 6 skirt. Is this TTS? I wear a 6 Dress, But 8 at Anthro on dresses. Skirts always fit in a 6. So is is this a good fit or would a 4 be better. You look Lovely though <3 Have a great Wednesday!

  6. fallon - thanks so much! my coworkers definitely appreciate my sense of style :) but i also work in a pretty fashion forward place. it's always fun to get dressed in the morning and know my business professional is a little less conventional.

patti b - thanks so much! i am glad to be able to shop my closet again, but i might be open to doing it again!

molly - aww, thank you so much!!

gabby - you know, i would size up in this one. strangely enough, i went with an 8. now i have a narrower waist and wider hips, so this is the type of skirt i would normally size down in. but the smaller sizes did weird things because of the elastic waist. i found that the 8 sit low enough to not curl up at the waist? it was a weird fit and i thought it wouldnt work because both the 4 and 6 fit, but not quite right. only when i went to the 8 did i realize the skirt was actually cute. so.. i am not sure which size i would recommend!

agentsuperstar - thanks!! :) so glad you found me!
