outfit of the day: 02.02.2011

hello! ooh today was a challenge. not because of the 30x30, but because of what i needed to do today and the 30x30. i was doing double duty and it was a challenge to find the perfect outfit. this morning i volunteered with 5th graders at a museum. i was a chaperone, sitting on the floor, walking around, moving and grooving. i had to be comfortable and casual. this afternoon, back at work, i needed to present during some important meetings. i needed to look dressed up and professional. i also didn't want to stray from my 30x30 or bring 2 outfits. so here's what i wore:

 




































by the evening when i took photos, the knees in my leggings got a little baggy - but i think it worked out. i also ended up just wearing my snow boots throughout the museum (outerwear is totally acceptable for 30x30), so i looked more casual than in the heels.  here is the polyvore breakdown:

    brittney - thanks so much! i love sparkle, so this belt was hard to say no too! (same with the shoes, sucker for pretty flowers...) i can't wait to see how your remixing goes! it's my first time. eeek!
