anthropologie cultural heritage skirt fitting review and styling options

hi there. i gave a sneak peak on sunday, but it popped up online yesterday. the cultural heritage skirt by yoana baraschi available from anthropologie. well, here it is on me and i do really like it:

(ignore the wooly socks. it's freezing and way too cold to put my bare feet on that tile!) overall fits true to size. i am wearing an 8 here (same as in the acting out skirt by cartonnier). i also tried on the 10 and decided it was too big overall (didn't have that pencil skirt "hug"). all photos are of me in the size 8.

love the details, colors, and of course the dots.

i do like it paired with the plaid poche shirt by paper boy. but here are some other styling options for you. option #1 is girly casual:
Pony Mouse Ballerina
$275 - bergdorfgoodman.com
Flat heel shoes »

Petal Pouf Bag
$88 - anthropologie.com

option #2, has retro glamour:

option #3 would be perfect for work. aren't those red wedges gorgeous? they also come in nude or black.

the skirt is definitely wishlisted until March! :)

until next time,
S

  3. sweetlaundry - thanks! i am still debating. this whole 30x30 is giving me tons of perspective. i know i already have lots of navy pencil skirts (and i like to wear them)... but this one is definitely adorable.
