pottery barn display and storage finds

hello there. from my post on how i displayed my necklaces, it sounded like a lot of you are looking for unique ways to store and display your jewels and necklaces, so when i spotted this cabinet in the latest pottery barn bed and bath catalog, i had to share:

wouldn't this be darling in a bathroom or even on a back closet wall? i love that it has a mirror too!  my only concern is it looks like it wouldnt be quite right for longer pendant necklaces... but you could hang those below.  and better yet, you could also do this with a medicine cabinet you have (or find vintage one...) right?  just take out the little shelves, add a piece of wood for extra stability with some pretty hooks attached and voila! cabinet for storing jewels is complete.

i have just been loving pb's styings lately. i love this fabric and vintage frame. i think it would be a perfect addition in a closet. i know many of you out there have inspiration boards in your closets and this one is pretty enough to sit next to all those fancy shoes and dresses. :)

i also think if you wanted it, it wouldn't be that hard to re-create. you would just need a vintage looking frame, cork board, and then to cover it with fabric. probably one of the easiest do-it yourselfer projects (even tonight!). have a lovely evening!
